DIV Games Studio is an Integrated Developing Environment including a
powerful game engine running in MSDOS and a scripting language to create
games for it. The language itself has structures simmilar to Pascal and
C. Programs are events and processes oriented.
The package contains
everything you need to create a game from scratch (bar the music): a
powerful graphics editor, resource manager and digital sound editor.
Div v2 was released in 1998 and included a new character editor which uses
low poly 3D models to generate 2D sprites, and the new "mode 8" which
helps you creating FPS in the vein of Doom.
